Storm Cancellations
Call 389-9414 for a recorded message when class is cancelled by bad weather. Unless a storm is severe, we will old classes in the indoor arena. Always call this number to let us know if you will be absent from class, so we can unsaddle your horse. Please call if you are running late so we can have your horse ready for you. Students use the VIP hotline: 389-9414.
Riding Apparel
Livery riders wear SEI approved helmets, riding breeches, and paddock boots, and bring an inexpensive riding crop. Riding gloves (not mittens!) and warm jackets are essential in cold weather. A good tack store is Marin Tack & Feed, on Sir Francis Drake Blvd, San Anselmo.
Show Team
Miwok advanced students may qualify for the Miwok Livery Show Team. Team riders practice twice a week and compete in local schooling shows. Our emphasis is on team spirit, working together toward a common goal, achieving our personal best through consistent practice while having fun. See more about the Miwok Livery Show Team with our News link.
